My Pet Cemetery
Every wag of their tail was a little “I love you”.And they meant it, every single time.Every purr and every slow blink said “I’m so glad you’re mine”.That love is still yours to keep.

Love never leaves

A pet memorial for all the love they gave you

The happy greetings at the door, the warm weight on your lap, the quiet evenings side by side. That love is still yours. Here you can celebrate them, tell their story and keep them close, at your own pace.

Memorials are free, and there's no rush.

Whatever you're feeling is okay

Grief after losing a pet can be deep and surprising. Here are a few things many people quietly carry.

  • “The house is so quiet now.”

No paws on the floor, no one waiting at the door. The silence where they used to be can be the hardest part.

  • “Did I do enough?”

Almost everyone who loves a pet asks this. Those questions come from love, not failure. They knew they were cared for.

  • “People don't understand.”

Some may say “it was only a pet”. It wasn't. They were family, and your grief is as real as your love was.

  • “I still look for them.”

Reaching for the lead, filling the bowl, listening for them at night. Old habits are love that hasn't found a new place yet.

A thought for today

“Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day.”

Grief at every age

Whether you are six or ninety-six, the bond was real, and so is the loss.

A gentle way to keep them close

A memorial page is a place for their story, whenever you feel ready to tell it.

  1. 1

    Tell their story

Their name, their funny habits, the way they greeted you. Writing it down can bring a little peace, and you can add to it whenever you're ready.

  2. 2

Keep their photos and moments together

Up to ten favourite photos, all in one place you can come back to. Garden members can add their sounds and a video story too.

  3. 3

    Let others share the memories

Family and friends can leave kind words on their page. Or keep it private, just for you.

Signing in only needs your email, with no password to remember. Begin their memorial.

Moments to remember

Video stories from families about how their pet changed their life, what they learned, and how they feel now.

A painted storybook garden with soft green hills under a warm sky

The Garden · coming soon

A forever place in the sunshine

We're painting a storybook garden where the pets we've loved can rest together. Each has their own little plot, drawn by hand and linked to their memorial, so you can visit whenever you like.

Membership will also let you add their sounds, the purr or the bark you miss so much, share a video story about them, and watch the stories of other families. It helps cover what it costs to keep this place online, so every memorial can stay here for good.

Entirely optional. Pre-booking costs nothing, and when the garden opens membership is a one-time $29, yours for life.

A pet memorial and online pet cemetery, made with care

My Pet Cemetery is a gentle place online to remember the pets who shared our lives. Here you can create a pet memorial for a dog, cat, rabbit, horse, bird or any companion you've loved, with their name, their story and their favourite photos, and keep it somewhere safe for as long as you need it. Think of it as a quiet, virtual pet cemetery: a place to visit on hard evenings and happy anniversaries alike, from wherever you are.

Why create a pet memorial?

When a pet dies, the love doesn't stop. It needs somewhere to go. Writing about them, choosing photos and reading kind words from friends can bring real comfort in the weeks and months after a loss. A pet memorial gathers everything in one place, so the details don't fade: the way they greeted you at the door, the spot on the sofa that was always theirs, the silly habits only your family knew. Many people find that simply making the page helps them begin to grieve. Others come back again and again to add a memory, or to reread the messages left for them.

How it works

Creating a pet memorial is free and takes only a few minutes. You sign in with your email, with no password to remember, then add your pet's name, their species or breed, the dates you shared if you'd like, a tribute in your own words and up to ten photos. You can share the page with family and friends, who can leave kind words, or keep it private, just for you. You can edit it, add to it or make it private at any time. There are no adverts on memorial pages, and every report is read by a real person, so this stays a kind and respectful place. You can also visit the memorials other families have shared.

A different kind of pet cemetery

A traditional pet cemetery offers a grave and a headstone you can visit in person. That is precious, but it isn't possible for everyone: plots can be costly, they're not always nearby, and families move. An online pet cemetery keeps their memory rather than their body. An online pet memorial travels with you, and grandparents, friends and the neighbour who walked them can all visit from anywhere in the world. Many families choose both: cremation or burial for their pet, and a pet memorial page for their story.

The Garden: a storybook resting place

We're also painting The Garden, a hand-drawn storybook garden where the pets we've loved rest together. Each pet will have their own little plot, drawn by hand and linked to their memorial page, so you can visit them whenever you like. Garden membership will be a one-time $29, yours for life, and will also let you add recordings of their voice, share a short video story about your pet and watch the stories of other families. It helps cover the cost of keeping every memorial online for good. Membership is entirely optional, and memorials stay free for everyone.

You don't have to carry this alone

Grief has no timetable. Some days will feel lighter, and some will feel heavy again, and both are normal. If it feels like too much, please talk to someone you trust. Your vet can often point you towards a pet loss support group near you.

If you are ever in crisis or thinking of harming yourself, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline straight away.

The love you shared doesn't end. It simply finds a new place to live.
