Privacy policy

Last updated 10 October 2026

We keep this simple: we collect as little as we can, and we never sell your information.

What we collect

  • Your email address, so you can sign in. It is never shown on your memorials.
  • What you add to a memorial: your pet's name, details, tribute, story, photos, sounds and videos.
  • Kind words you leave on a memorial: the name you choose and your message. Your email is never shown with them.
  • Reports sent with the report button: the reason and any details you give. Reports are anonymous.
  • Garden pre-bookings: your email, your pet's name and, if you add it, a memorial link.

Who can see what

  • Public memorials can be seen by anyone, and may appear on our homepage and in search engines.
  • Private memorials can only be seen by you when signed in.
  • Kind words on a public memorial can be seen by anyone. The memorial's owner can remove any of them.
  • Videos on public memorials can be watched by Garden members, on the memorial and in the video stories reel. Videos are stored privately and can only be opened through the site by members and by you.
  • Photos are stored at web addresses that are not listed anywhere, but anyone who has a photo's exact address can open it, even if the memorial is private.

Where it is stored

Your information is stored with Supabase (our database and photo and video storage) and the website is hosted by Netlify. When you pre-book a Garden plot, your details are also sent to us by email through Resend. They process data on our behalf, and their servers may be outside your country.

Cookies

We only use the cookies needed to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your memorials at any time. Deleting a memorial permanently removes its photos, sounds, videos and kind words too. You can remove your own kind words at any time. To delete your account, see your data, or ask anything about privacy, email debdrajat@gmail.com.
